Founded in 2004, Health Prime was born to relieve physicians from administrative burdens and allow them to focus on what matters the most: patients. After looking for a high-technology medical billing partner that could satisfy his medical practice’s needs and couldn’t find any, Dr. V.K. Shah decided to create his own solution that would help his practice, but also other multiple practices that faced his same challenges.  

Dr. Shah envisioned a variety of solutions that would help his and other practices to focus on patient care without having to worry about administrative tasks that distract doctors from their mission.

Health Prime serves as a strategic partner for value-based care organizations in today’s modern consumer health care marketplace.

Jordyn joined Health Prime in February 2021 and serves as the Chief Transformation Officer. At Health Prime, Jordyn is responsible for driving business transformation, including process optimization, scalability planning, and growth strategies.

Candace joined Health Prime in 2019 and brings 12 years of HR experience to the team. At Health Prime, Candace serves as a strategic HR leader providing support, counsel, and leadership on company initiatives, employee relations, staffing, compliance, training, and development.

Eliot brings over 30 years of consulting, business operations and technology skills to help our clients move their practice forward in a technology-enabled future. He manages the teams that provide the technologies that underpin the Revenue Cycle, EMR, and ancillary solutions provided to Health Prime clients.

With more than 14 years of experience, Akshay has experience in the field of M&A, financial reporting, analysis, foreign taxation, and auditing. He is responsible for all areas of finance and accounting, including managing the procedures for financial forecasting and budgets.

Christopher Wang

Chris joined Health Prime in 2020 and is responsible for Health Prime’s corporate and strategic development, including mergers, acquisitions, investments, and strategic planning. Prior to joining Health Prime, Chris spent the majority of his career in private equity where he specialized in investing and growing disruptive technology-enabled services and healthcare technology companies.

Michael Hopkins

VP of Financial Planning and Operations

Mike has 25 years of Finance and Accounting experience in various industries. Main areas of focus have included enhancing management and financial reporting, accounting system integrations and driving the forecasting and budgeting process.

Jorge Lobo

Director of Costa Rica Operations

With 10+ years of experience in service centers, Jorge provides leadership to ensure quality operational functions in the different departments in Costa Rica, with particular attention to delivering high-quality patient experience through our various support channels.
