Role and Responsibilities

Health Prime is seeking the expertise of an experienced Vice President of Sales to join our organization. The VP Sales will lead targeted sales efforts and develop relationships with new and existing clients with a focus on RCM opportunities. The candidate must be able to communicate Health Prime’s unique and innovative ability to deliver complex and customized RCM solutions. The ideal candidate will have significant knowledge and experience in selling RCM services in addition to strengthening our Channel Partnerships. VP will be responsible for the planning and implementation of Health Prime’s market strategy. Present quarterly Sales updates to the Board and Executive team. Collaborates with senior leadership to meet the company’s revenue objectives. Manage a diverse and multi-disciplined sales team. Is responsible for development and compliance with Sales and Marketing budget. This role is located at our HQ’s in National Harbor, MD, but has the option to be remote.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Daily management of an Enterprise sales team
  • Assesses sales pipeline, activity & forecasts to determine sales progress & areas for refinement/improvement
  • Coach strategic team through the development of key enterprise level sales skills, including vertical market management, forecasting & sales planning, prospecting/pipelining within account base, complex deal negotiations, cross-functional support both internally and externally, as well as CRM/reporting accuracy
  • Maintain positive and proactive line of communication between the lines of business as well as senior leadership; includes developing and delivering accurate forecast and attainment details during weekly and quarterly business reviews
  • Manage existing channel partner relationships along with expanding the channel partner market
  • Identify potential acquisition targets
  • Operates well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment without requiring significant supervision
  • Creatively and independently resolve conflict and solve problems
  • Conduct market research and analysis
  • Develop and maintain a Sales Playbook
  • Develop and implement a Health Prime sales market strategy
  • Serves as a Leadership Team member

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in related field (May by substituted with relevant work experience)
  • 12+ years successful sales experience with a track record of meeting & exceeding quota
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience with outpatient RCM industry
  • Demonstrated track record of selling, managing, and creating sales growth through proven sales methodologies
  • Track record of building, coaching, and enabling a rapidly growing team
  • Prior experience selling into Healthcare, knowledge of buying cycles and key stakeholders
  • Knowledge of navigating a long sales lifecycle
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
