Health Prime is currently seeking an energetic CPC certified interventional radiology coder to join our remote coding team. The Coder is responsible for accurately and efficiently identifying and assigning medical codes for payment based on medical records or other documentation as provided.
Responsibilities:
- Provide CPT and ICD10 coding services in an efficient and timely manner utilizing all available resources for accurate coding.
- Pull charges and notify client, following protocol, of any incomplete or questionable information.
- Notify Supervisor of updated and/or changes along with trends that may hinder or delay the timely processing of claims.
- Special projects as assigned.
Requirements
– 2-5 years of Interventional Radiology CPT and ICD-10 experience.
– CIRCC and CPC certification
– Extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology
– EPIC experience and knowledge a plus
– Familiarity with working coding related denials
– Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
– Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
